In this new mission, Arredo Jolly had the responsibility of assisting in the choices and installation of all the coverings and bathroom furnishings. Each environment has been studied in detail and managed individually: no element is the same but every single product is coordinated by a refined and prestigious aesthetic choice.
The reconstruction project of Villa Caterina, a prestigious early 19th century residence located in Stresa, the pearl of Lake Maggiore, was designed by the architect Prini Giacomo with the intention of transforming it into a dream home as desired by the client.
In a privileged position that stretches towards infinity, embracing the lake from above, it is located just above Stresa where a breathtaking panorama enchants and fascinates millions of tourists.
The new project saw the creation of an area, located on the ground floor, used as a spa with a large swimming pool, entirely covered in artistic mosaic by the sicis company depicting a large fish tank culminating in the whirlpool area with a large shell containing a treasure, rare and precious like the pearl, all framed by columns covered with flowers and leaves made with the art of plasterboard and marble floors inlaid with flowers.
Also in the wellness area there is a large turkish bath, entirely in mosaic depicting large peacocks, a salt room, an experience shower and a sauna with a large window overlooking the lake, almost merging with it.
The main entrance leading to the first floor is through the large avenue framed by plants and large sculptures chosen by the owners.
Once through the door, the amazement is immediate: the large helical staircase entirely covered in marble and with an internal stringer in mosaic captures the viewer for its beauty and majesty.
The ceiling of it is a large dome with a round shape in glass and mosaic. All the floors in the rooms and the bathroom walls are made of marble.
Accurate and harmonious are the furnishings of the whole place , from the bathrooms to the bedrooms that blend in perfect harmony.
